• Worked with a group of fellow medical students to complete a meta-analysis on Effectiveness of Myofascial Release in the Treatment of Low Back Pain.
• Recorded and presented our research for LECOM Bradenton Virtual Interprofessional Research Day 2024.

• Sorted and packed food and other materials to be sent to schools and students who qualify for low income free lunches.

• Sit in on Zoom interview sessions with prospective and future students to answer questions about LECOM from the point of view of a current medical student.
• Guided tours of the campus for students on orientation and answered any questions that the students or family members had.
• Participated in various recruitment events at colleges and universities and at health fairs.

• Worked with Dr. Buggs and Dr. Kemmer and presented our research on a project that involved collecting data on patients at Tampa General Hospital that received Fibroscans on their liver in order to correlate them to their true cirrhosis or steatosis status, demographics, type of insurance, and urban/rural living
• Presented our study at a research dinner that involved many doctors at Tampa General Hospital as well as outside physicians who were invited to attend.

• Interned for a total of 48 hours for various Orlando Fire Departments around Orlando through my status as an EMT student at Valencia College. As an intern, I spent the day riding on the ambulance truck with my paramedic preceptor, learning how to and performing EMS skills, such as applying a 12-lead, taking blood pressures, pulses and blood sugar readings, and performing patient assessments on the various patients I encountered on my shifts.

• Interned for a total of 24 hours at Florida Hospital East (now named Advent Health) as an EMT intern through my status as an EMT student at Valencia College. As intern, under the supervision of nurses and paramedics, I performed different skills and tasks that is allowed at the EMT level, including placing 12-leads and running an EKG machine, performing CPR on three different individuals, taking blood pressure readings, administering oxygen, and using proper sanitation and anti-septic techniques.

• Responsible for organizing and teaching the drumline at St. Augustine High School in St. Augustine, FL, which included writing music, teaching technique to new students, and helping to organize the high school students into a respectable and balanced drumline for their 2017 season.
• Developed customized lesson plans for individual students, resulting in improved skill acquisition.
• Enhanced student performance by implementing innovative and engaging drum line exercises.
