● Maintain strong connections to referral sources in and around the Philadelphia Metro area including but not limited to Philadelphia Law Enforcement, non-profit organizations, and community groups/ organizations.
● Advocate for survivors by accompanying them to court proceedings, interviews or other in-person meetings as well as by connecting them to other needed community resources.
● Provide one-on-one trauma support to individuals impacted by violent crimes. Community engagement and support (35%) ● Provide training on trauma and trauma resiliency to individuals, groups, or organizations in the community. ● Advocate for policy changes with institutions when relevant. ● Develop community partnerships where mutually beneficial for CTSS and survivors of crime. Administrative tasks (15%) ● Establish and maintain confidential record-keeping systems for tracking client relationships in a manner consistent with confidentiality laws that protect survivors . ● Complete billing requirements for Crime Victims Compensation to ensure that payments to CTSS are fulfilled accurately. ● Enter into and maintain any private billing agreements with individual clients. ● Manage any grants and grant-related reporting to support this program. ● Participate in grant writing and fundraising efforts to support CTSS and this program.
