I currently volunteer at Crossroads Christian Church for the Children's Special Needs Ministry. I along with a team, work collaboratively to adapt the weekly Children's Ministry message, into a comprehensive lesson for our special needs age group. We create a safe and structured environment that supports a wide range of ages (5 -13) and disabilities. Once a month, I volunteer for the Adult Ministry, which provides families/caretakers a respite night while the Adult ministry creates a fun evening of dinner, activities, a brief message and dancing for adults that range in age from( 18-80) with a wide range of needs. My passion and desire to work with Special Needs has given me opportunities to work with such a great community.
