Growing up in the U.S. Air Force, I had the distinct privilege to live in England, Germany, and various U.S. states. Traveling as an adult to China, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Ghana, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Bahamas, and Costa Rica has also given me the opportunity to experience and appreciate other lands and cultures and to celebrate them with my students and their families.
