Accomplishments

I have been a deaconess for four years and love it. We serve the church and share the love to serve our God. I am the secretary of our meetings and organize our notes. I send them out to the secretary of church every month. We decorate, we cater for funeral luncheons, coffee service, set up fellowship time and love on our church family.

I also help with a homeless ministry at church that provides food and clothing to the less fortunate. As a group, we get together and organize all clothing and everyday needs in tubs and travel to Cleveland. I spend about 2-3 hours on some Mondays organizing.

I also have participated in a city run program through Hearts and Hammer in which this group of locals in our city provide services to elders. My family has helped two ladies for the past 12 years by shoveling their steps and side door when it snows. We have been able to build a relationship with both of them, such a blessing.
