
Communicate with diverse patients, build rapport and long-term relationships, and achieve customer service satisfaction.
Greet patients, patient check in, answer patient quesions, and complete office duties within the organization.
Insurance verification with HMO, PPO and all acceptable insurance plans. Answer phones, data entry, schedule appointments for 4 physical therapists and 2 occupational therapists. Collect co-payments and all patient balances for the organization. Complete a variety of office duties for each therapist within the organization.
Independently work closely with patients to schedule DME equipment to be delivered to their home prior to surgical procedures. DME equipment includes, but not limited to cold therapy units, tens units, postoperative bracing, and custom fitted bracing. Work closely with sales representative and field technician to ensure timely delivery of equipment and customer satisfaction.
Interface directly with paitents, employers, workers compensation carriers and third party administrators. Duties include but not limited to frequent contact with staff, patients, coworkers, and physicians in a professional manner under all situations, including deadlines and stress. Schedule all new workers compensation patients.
