As a Developmental Family Coach, I conducted interviews to determine family need and eligibility. Explored alternate resources and links clients to community services. Completed program applications for program benefits and, if eligible, issues appropriate support payments. Engages clients in family evaluation of strengths. Jointly developed case plans and identified the steps the family will take towards self-sufficiency and meeting their basic needs. Monitored progress, needs, and made necessary modifications to the case plan. Initiates and participates in case staffing, employment readiness, life skills training, and supports job search as needed.

In addition to my role as the Developmental Family Coach was to assist with crisis and safety planning for individuals experiencing domestic violence. I completed TADVS program eligibility and when appropriate, issued grant payments, assist with supporting resources and services within the community in alignment with ODHS Core Values of Innovation, Integrity, Professionalism, Respect, Responsibility, Service Equity, and Stewardship.
