  • Professional Department Director position, directing the functions of the City Clerk's office. Responsible for citywide records management, ensuring compliance with the State of Florida public records laws, cemetery management, election qualifying, and agenda development for all City Council and Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) meetings. Attends, records, and approves the meeting minutes of all board meetings. Appointed as Custodian of the City Seal, with the authority to execute and emboss documents to authenticate the validity of city records. Qualifying Officer for candidates seeking an elected position, and serves as a canvassing board chair for city elections. Developed and implemented a citywide records management policy and procedures manual, and serves as the Records Management Liaison Officer. Implemented the usage of document imaging for long-term retention documents to reduce space needs. Educates all departments on public records laws. Responsible for all legal notices. Serves as the Financial Disclosure Coordinator. Responsible for the administrative functions of the municipal cemetery, coordinated the expansion of the columbarium phase, and planned for future growth.
