The Salary Commission is an independent board required by the Pokagon Band Constitution. The Commission is responsible for creating job descriptions and compensation recommendations to Tribal Council for elected and appointed positions. As Commission Secretary, responsibilities also include maintaining accurate documentation of Commission meetings, decisions, and activities by preparing meeting minutes and official communications, compliance, and record keeping.
The Enrollment Committee is a committee required by the Pokagon Band Constitution. The Committee is responsible for overseeing, reviewing, and making recommendations on applications for enrollment, while ensuring compliance with enrollment laws, policies, and procedures.
The Ethics Board is responsible for administering the Pokagon Band Code of Ethics to ensure that public officials and public employees shall always fulfill their duties and observe standards of ethical conduct. Prior to being Chair, I held Secretary and Member at Large responsibilities.
