During my time away from employment

Committed to my family, I took leave from employment. In that time, I cared for my mother suffering from Dementia with Alzheimer's.

During this time I learned much about home improvement while settling into a new home. I taught myself woodworking & carpentry skills. I also dived into gardening. Growing not only food and herbs but setting up natural habitats. I welcomed pollinating bees and monarch butterflies.

Being able to roll my mother's wheelchair outside to enjoy.

At this same time as well, taking care of my mother in law until we were forced to put her into a nursing home. I am proud to say that I am truly a caretaker.

I left Labcorp on good terms with expectations of returning when life settled. My mother passed in October 2024. I am ready to resume life as I knew it. Only better because of less stress.
