I worked per-diem nurse in the OR. I circulated mostly adult orthopedics, general, ENT and GYN surgery.

• I was primarily involved in the Neurosurgery team in both the circulating and scrub roles
• I also was a circulator in ortho and ENT.

• I worked primarily in the circulating role in all areas of the operating room that included ortho, gyn, general, urology and plastics.

• Assisted with the opening of the Neurosurgery service at the hospital.

• I worked the 3-11 shift as the charge nurse and was responsible for finishing the cases of the day in ortho, general, gyn, eyes and vascular.

• I worked primarily in plastics and eyes as well as OMFS in both the scrub and circulating roles.

• I was hired as part of the OR nurse training program and learned to circulate and scrub in all services
