Summary

I have been a RN ADN for 25 years. I have worked mainly in cardiology and vascular areas. My floor nursing experience has been within CCU, CVICU, CIMU, and Cardiac cath holding area. Since April 2013, I have been working in an academic setting involved is clinical research trials as well as higher level of innovative cardiac imaging. This also includes working within a clinical setting caring for more critically ill patient. In this clinical setting I have sole responsibility to manage clinical support staff to ensuring flow, space availability and adequate help on clinic days. It takes a team to provide the best care for our patients and I advocate to be the kind of mentor that promotes team work and mutual respect. I practices each day believing in patient advocacy with understanding, proper teaching for patients and their family's. It is our responsibility to provide the utmost respect to their beliefs, needs and care. I feel confident in saying that I have successfully proven my skills in team leadership from working in management and team leadership throughout my nursing career. I plan to continue working in the nursing field to provide the best service to all of my patients. I am open to new challenges and known to be a fast learner. I work well with others and enjoy collaborating ideas on ways to maintain and keep the job productive. I hope to continue in job that allows me to grow in knowledge with room for advancement.
