What I've learned

The most important thing that I've learned is the patient that is in my care at that moment.  Our patients are why we do this job.  I usually only have 10 -15 minutes with a patient,  but the impression I want them to feel is my compassion, love and care for what they are experiencing and going through.  I want them to feel how much I care, trust me to know my job to help them and hopefully help put their minds and family members at ease.
