Summary

My name is Tracy, I currently work at Sutter Bay Medical Foundation as a Patient Services Representative Lead. I am an organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.

I go to any department that needs assistance, some of my tasks are: making the front desk schedules, keeping up to date on attendance trackers as well as PTO/call out calendars, and coding Kronos for timekeeping policies. I proactively join in clinical huddles, I was also on a PSR ambassador committee. I adapt well to new environments and offer a positive attitude with 20+ years of customer service experience. I strive to excel in anything that I do, as my goal is to grow in Leadership within Sutter Health.

I started as a Patient Services Representative Float, and in my time being here, I have proven myself to be deserving of a leadership role. I am currently set to complete my Sutter Certified Leadership course in mid April. I believe if given the opportunity for the Supervisor, Patient Access position, I would be a great fit by bringing a positive attitude and the work ethic needed to help continue to grow as we become the Power of One.

I oversee 30+ PSR's and ensure daily workflow goes as smoothly as possible serving as their key point of contact if something is needed on the floor. On top of my regular PSR duties, I support supervisors and managers in implementing new policies or procedures for improved patient care. I am also included in screening new candidates and hiring interviews.

  • Update the DAR with last appointment daily.
  • Re-skill all PSR's into correct call queue's.
  • Help create new hire trainer/trainee checklists.
  • I work in the Error pool to keep updates on any mistakes that are made and reach out to the PSR that is responsible for a prompt resolution if any is necessary.
  • I take the time to resolve patient complaints promptly, demonstrating empathy and understanding while seeking mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Stay calm under pressure and successfully deal with difficult situations as well as have taken a course on Difficult Conversations.
  • Adhere to timekeeping policies and attendance trackers.

In this role, I mainly supported the back PSR staff. I spent most of my time assisting the Ortho/Podiatry department, but I also knew the Eye Department and Physical Therapy as well as Front Desk.
