Community Volunteer Work

A member of the Sunnyside National Charity League, a national non-profit organization that encourages community service and volunteering opportunities for mothers and their daughters. I give 15 or more volunteer hours each year to various organizations around the city. Some of these organizations include the Wichita Center, Feed the Hungry, Father's Heart Ministry, Milwaukie Center, CHAP, Oregon Food Bank, and Clackamas Book Shelf, to mention a few. I also volunteer my time as a Grade Level Advisor (GLA) with the teenage girls. This has been a great platform to use my leadership and mentoring skills from my Nursing career.
