• Assist the Sociocultural Manager in ensuring that the department plans a calendar of events each semester that reflects the diverse needs of students at UWM and encompasses a wide variety of topics and formats.
• Play a key role in the development of events, including brainstorming, research, planning, marketing, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assist in the development of comprehensive marketing plans for events, including print and electronic strategies, such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, email, and web.
• Staff daytime, evening, and weekend events.
• Maintain Sociocultural programming email account and social media.
• Represent Sociocultural Programming and Student Involvement positively and professional at all times.
• Maintain organized records.
• Develop partnerships with other campus departments and student organizations for collaborative programming opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including data entry, marketing distribution, etc.
