Leadership Experience

Unit based council chair and co-chair, 2020, 2021, Met monthly to brainstorm ways to improve workflow and unit environment. Responsible to enacting new policies/procedures and overseeing the transition to utilization in practice. Created monthly agendas, documented progress, and helped develop new ways to motivate and retain nursing staff. Observed my units fall score drastically decrease from 36 falls in 2020 to only 7 in 2021 due to action plan enacted by the council which included a creation of a “No Pass Zone” and hourly rounding.
