It is my responsibility as a supervisor at Inter-Con Security for the San Bernardino County contract to monitor and observe the daily practices of the security officers stationed at the San Bernardino County Buildings to ensure that they are completing their duties. I conduct daily inspections of approximately 13 sites per day in order to make sure that the officers: have water, are in proper uniform, have all their equipment including their firearm, bulletproof vest, pepper spray, etc., and to ensure that they are meeting the expectations of our client, San Bernardino County.
It is also my responsibility on days that I am scheduled in the office to conduct new hire interviews, adjust the security officers hours if they forget to clock-in in order to make sure that their time cards are accurate and to source for any openings there may be in the schedule due to officers calling off to guarantee that we are meeting our client’s needs and not having any lapse in security coverage on our sites.
It is also my duty to conduct weekly inspections of all of our fleet vehicles, compile a list of any and all damages and send my findings to the vice president of Inter-Con Security in order to hold all Intercon employees accountable for any damages for which they are responsible.
It was my responsibility as a Level 3 Armed Security Guard stationed at the San Bernardino County Fontana Probation Department to screen and check-in everyone who entered the adult probation lobby in order to ensure that they did not have any weapons, drugs, or drug paraphernalia. When individuals attempted to bring these items into the facility, it was my responsibility to confiscate the prohibited items and turn them over to the individual’s probation officer.
