I acquired my cdl in 2001 and as a driver in the delivery field for 20 plus yearsI have had many obstacles to over come and have managed them in a professional manner. I have received different awards and been recognized for these achievements.
As a driver at Dominos the goal and expectation as a driver are to deliver product safely, effectively, and in a timely manner. My job at dominos is to deliver products to different locations placing products into the proper refrigerated spaces.
At Twenty Wheels I delivered different wood products on a flatbed trailer from lumberyards to different locations including Lowe’s Home improvement, Home Depot, and other corporate accounts. This job required many driving skills as to backing into docks and maneuvering in tight locations.
At Martin and Brower my job was to deliver products safely and in a timely manner to all McDonald’s locations. As a driver I was required to maneuver in and off of parking lots of stores. This required safe backing skills. I also was required to use an electric pallet jack and manual jack to place product in the proper refrigerated areas.
As a driver at Sysco we were required to deliver food products to many customers. As a driver it was our responsibility to do it in a safe and timely manner. I was also a driver trainer and also pulled doubles form the warehouse to different domicile yard. At Sysco I was an awarded Haul of Fame recognizing me for safe driving, attendance, and hard work.
I later became a driver supervisor for Sysco. As a supervisor I was over 30 plus drivers. This required me over seeing drivers safety, work ethic, and teaching different skills to driver. As a supervisor I also routed trucks to ensure timely delivery time windows.
