  • Conducted maintenance on wind turbine brakes by utilizing inside and outside micrometers to measure brake components. If the measurements were outside of specified limits, led the team in replacing all components using various locally manufactured tools until the correct solution was found to remove all brake pucks.
  • After replacement, submitted detailed photos and completed the job by performing torque specifications on all necessary nuts and bolts.
  • Led and supervised a crew on a daily basis, ensuring the completion of one tower per day as requested by the maintenance supervisor.
  • Managed all aspects of maintenance work during the contract, ensuring quality and safety standards were met.
  • In instances where more than one tower could be completed each day, it was ensured that at least two towers were finished.
  • Focused on maintaining accurate measurements and addressing any components that required extra attention, especially in cases where prior maintenance had been lacking, which demanded more time and precision.
