Experienced press operations professional prepared for this role. Skilled in machine setup, quality control, and troubleshooting. Strong focus on team collaboration and achieving results. Reliable and adaptable to changing needs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
My job requires me to follow a quality form and take raw blade material out of our layup room enter the required data into the computer then load the blade into 1 of 10 presses all in a safe and strict manner. Once the blade is cured I take the blade out clean off any excess resin clean the mold then weigh the blade and place on a cart for next steps.
On each friday I have to change out the resin in each presses pot, change out jars, put a new seal on the pot, clean out cold traps and reset each press.
I feel I have good trouble shooting and multi tasking skills some examples are during the curing process if any issues occur I'm able to find a solution and we are required at times to work on multiple presses at the same time.
My time at F&P started on a weld line loading small parts into precise places to be machine welded then pulled out and hung for paint.
Next I moved to small parts assembly loading pieces into a spot welder and checked them with quality measurement tools.
Following that I was selected out of the company to go with a group of fellow employees to Japan to learn a new type of machine welding to start at our plant.
To end my time at F&P I worked in the shipping and receiving department unloading parts making new labels for each container and putting them away in the proper location by FIFO.
