minor electrical work, mechanical repairs, and other duties relating to maintenance and IT needsPosition Responsibilities:Clinical / Technical Skills (40% of performance review)

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and systems as required
• Performs preventative maintenance duties to all physical structures of the facility and complies with all building safety codes This is to include facility equipment and associated controls
• Assists in maintaining HVAC light Repairs
• Performs urgent corrective, routine and requisitioned repairs of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems as required
• Perform upkeep of the facility, which could include but not limited to, painting, wall repair, on call after hours, unclogging toilets and sinks, etc
• As required, assists in maintaining electrical wiring, IT computer set ups and emergency generator systems Inspects and tests equipment/systems
• Assists in replacing, installing, repairing and testing electrical circuits, IT equipment, equipment, appliances and lighting systems as required
• Maintains routine records of all inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system
• Performs manual duties as requested (ie, moving supplies or furniture, replacing light bulbs removing trash and scrap material)
• Reads blueprints, interprets instructions and prepares specifications
• Knowledgeable of safety measures/devices used on behavioral health units
• A working knowledge of fire alarm and signal systems

• A thorough knowledge of how to use and maintain plant tools and equipment
• Knowledge and observance of safety precautions
• Perform other duties as required
