I am a U.S. Army Veteran with over 14 years of leadership experience including time as a staff level Noncommissioned Officer and 5 years in claims management. I have served as the Platoon Sergeant for the Joint Air Defense Operation Center in Washington DC. I am currently serving our members as a manager in our Express Property Claims Department. In 2019 I separated from the Florida Army National Guard where I was serving as the Headquarters Platoon Sergeant for A-Battery 3/265th Air Defense Artillery Battalion. After my contract came to an end with the Army National Guard, I focused more of my time on serving our members by taking on more responsibility here at USAA. I have 10 years of claims experience with USAA in both Auto and Property Claims. I have spent the last 5 years leading teams in both Property Express and Non-Injury Auto. These 2 departments, historically speaking, have been responsible for handling FNOL’s for the Claims Organization. I have led several projects since joining our property leadership team 2 years ago. I am extremely familiar with our call auditing tools and call center applications such as NICE, Engage, Gridspace, and CARS. I am currently leading a Pilot Team in Property Express as my team was selected to be the first team to engage in the new operating model for Associate Property Adjusters. I am currenlty mentoring new managers in Property Express and our new Contact Center.
