Family Interaction Specialists (FIS) supervise family interactions between parents and children to ensure the safety and well-being of children. FISs also provide adjacent services such as transportation for children to and from family interactions and visit coaching to parents. Family interactions may provide services in the FFCS office, community or in a home setting.
The Repack Technician is an integral part of the Supply Repackaging Organization. Under general supervision of the Supply Supervisor, the Repack Technician is responsible for packaging supplies, devices and equipment products while maintaining accuracy, efficiency and meeting production standards.
The Youth Counselor is responsible for implementing the interventions identified in each youth’s treatment plan by providing direct care services in the program and community that are client-focused, strengths-based, and professionalism. Responsibilities include: providing supervision and safety of clients, as well as recreational and therapeutic socially appropriate activities, completing documentation within the 72 hour timeframe requirement.
TM specialist use numerous Federal, DOD and service regulations, the Defense Transportation System (DTS), commercial modes of transportation, and distribution logistic functions to enable optimal selection and procurement of commercial and government-operated land, air, and water transportation services. Using a variety of automated systems in the performance of their duties TM specialists perform technical distribution management duties pertaining to movement of civilian and military personnel and their dependents, both individually and in groups, using any or all modes of transportation.
