While working here I was head equipment operator.

While workimg here the first 2 years all I did was operate equipment. As I learned how to read blue prints and elevation markings, figure material cost up and the scope cost I became foreman for the rest of my time there. I did all the time sheets kept up with how much material we was using wether that was block gravel dirt etc. made sure projects was getting done in a timely manner. Made sure grade was always correct in the footers before any kind of work proceeded along with pads for houses and what not when we done those. Also made sure the job site was a safe environment to be in.

When I worked for J McDonald electric our primary work was wiring homes and some commercial buildings. I learned how to run wire and what different types of wire was used for. I learned how to wire switches, outlets, fans, run half inch conduit on metal buildings, learned how to set up meter boxes and do the outside electrical work as well. The only thing I never learned how to do was wiring the fuse boxes.

While working for H and L clearing I learned how to be an equipment operator. Operating equipment such as track ho, skid steer, dozer and front end loader. I was in charge of building roads for Alabama power along with doing a lot of clearing work.

As a summer job in highschool I was a laborer for a custom home builder. There I learned common skills such as reading a tape measure, using a hammer, nail gun, how to frame a house and install doors and windows. Also learning the common skills it takes to do home construction.
