I am not just a preacher—I am a mantled messenger, a visionary who has walked the road of glory and grit. From pulpits to pro courts, I’ve been shaped in both the sanctuary and the storm. My life is a living testimony that God will let you taste the world just enough to make you desperate for Him. My resume isn’t just what I’ve done—it’s who God kept me as. I am sent to restore, rebuild, and revive ministries and minds, from the hood to the high places. Where many saw rejection, I found resurrection.
I was called young, gifted early, and sent far. But in the silence between stages and sanctuaries, I lost grip on the God I found in church—but didn’t yet walk with outside of it. I sought peace in foreign courts, purpose in applause, and identity in success. In that place, I walked away from the call. I converted to Islam, changed my name to Muhammad Shabazz, and pursued a temporary peace. But God never stopped pursuing me. He met me in a moment of brokenness and brought me home—not just to the church—but to His feet. What I lost in rebellion, I gained in restoration. Now I preach, lead, and live not for popularity, but for purpose.

I am Dr. Travis Taylor—I didn’t just survive. I was sent back. To build. To preach. To mentor. To coach. And to remind a generation: You can be great in the world, but only God makes you whole.
