Summary
I have proudly served the Cleveland Division of Police for over twenty five years. I rose through the ranks with determination and hard work. On my most recent assignment, I served at the rank of Lieutenant as the Platoon Watch Commander of the Fifth District C-Platoon and as the Lieutenant of the 5th District Community Services Unit. I supervised during nationwide protests, civil unrest and the Presidential Debate of 2020. I accomplished these tasks while navigating as a supervisor throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic. I retired in Good Standing with the Cleveland Division of Police in December of 2022. I am also very proud to say I worked as a detective for the East Cleveland Police Department.

- LODD & Officer Suicides. Debrief & refer officers' assigned to my platoon to Employee Assistance Unit.
- Investigated allegations of criminal conduct involving sworn members of the Division of Police.
- Handled allegations of sexual harassment and workplace violence Incidents in compliance with City of Cleveland, Division of Human Resources Policy and Protocol and Federal Laws.
- Deployed as the Field Force Platoon Supervisor to enforce citywide curfew during the George Floyd Protests.
- Attended Citywide Protests and Special Events weekly as Mobile Field Force Supervisor.
- Officer in Charge of Community Services Unit.
- Actively engaged in Pledge Against Gun Violence assemblies in city schools.

- Detained via traffic stop on E 200th Street (4) four male occupants/armed bank robbers (PNC Bank on E 185) de-escalated men while I held at gunpoint to prevent a shootout until my backup arrived. Recovered the $ and guns and arrested the offenders with back-up without incident. *(Note-wrong place at wrong time..the car stopped in front of me possibly due to observation of me and 1 man car from Euclid PD in the area bcz I happen to be behind it at time of broadcast)

- Investigated activities such as escort services (prostitution) and street level buy busts (narcotics) to build solid cases for criminal prosecution.
- Obtained, served and executed search warrants for individuals and property searches related to prostitution, narcotics and illegal bottle club investigations in full compliance with legal protections.
- Responded to Active Shooter Scene at Case Western Reserve University (May 9 2003) as a hostage negotiator. Assisted with recovering victims(s) and escorting them to the designated safety zone, rendering aid, gathering intel on the suspect and lay out of the building. Debriefed afterward.
