Over the past year I have been given the opportunity to learn the culture of Microcenter. During this time I have been able to help the Overland Park location drive from a 24th ranking to finishing the first fiscal half at 10th place. By implementing a narrowed focus around the Gear and utilizing our coaching station tool, we were able to align our associates goals with the company goals. By sending clear expectations to our associates we had constant engagement from them regarding their sales metrics and what they could do to capitalize better during their sales pitches.

• Managed opening and closing procedures and recommended changes to enhance efficiency of daily activities
• Walked through store areas to identify and proactively resolve issues negatively impacting operations.

• Removed damaged, out-of-code, not-in-set and discontinued items from displays
• Answered customer questions regarding store merchandise, department information, and pricing
• Inspected merchandise for quality and arranged proper store display location on floor
• Updated pricing and signage to complete product displays and educate customers.
