- I have worked for General Motors for twenty-five years. I have worked at three different assembly plants, performing various jobs. Besides working on the assembly line, I have also filled a team leader position and worked in quality control for five years. I am currently about to go back to quality control after being on the assembly line for the last eight years. Over the years I have performed many different jobs on the assembly line and have observed many situations that I have considered unsafe. Everything from jobs being performed in ways that could potentially be harmful to the operator to chemicals being used improperly making them dangerous to those using them. I always use my years of experience in this profession to identify and report unsafe conditions when I see them.
