Trent Thompson

Seeking an entry level job which allows me to partner with a school to foster Physical Education and Health learning, build relationships to achieve student success, and inspire students to utilize their personal strengths to maximize their learning experience.

I have exceptional social skills. This is one of my main strengths due to my ability to connect with people through communication, my sense of humor, my positive and grateful attitude, my ability to set people at ease, and empathy for others and their situations. Also,  I am  not easily offended or annoyed.  I have a very easy going personality. I always assume the best intentions of others and am quick to give them the benefit of doubt.  I have had quite a bit of practice with handling difficult, intense, stressful, conflict in a constructive way in each of my various jobs. I also have had the ability to intimately interact with many people over my lifetime of different cultural, ethnic, religious, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds which keeps me in tune with those around me and helps me make quick connections to students and adults.  I am extremely passionate about making sure each individual student is able to see their worth and potential in today's world.  I strive very hard to make every student see their unique qualities.  I really enjoy teaching and it shows in all of my interactions with others.
