Currently, I work as an Accountant 1 at Louisiana Special School District, where I apply my accounting skills and knowledge to support the district's financial operations. As Accountant 1, I am responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and maintaining financial records. I use LaCarte, a state-wide purchasing card program, to ensure compliance with state policies and procedures. I also collaborate with other accountants, auditors, and managers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reports.
