I own and operate a taxidermy business where I perform all aspects of the process, including preparing, preserving, mounting and finishing wildlife specimens to create lifelike displays. I manage client communication, scheduling, pricing, payments, legalized tagging and records while maintaining safe handling of materials and equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of wildlife anatomy, time management, and the ability to work independently while delivering high quality results and following Missouri's Taxidermy Laws and requirements.
Utilize industrial machinery to load and feed brass bar stock through production equipment, monitored processes, inspected materials and machines for defects, and confirmed compliance with safety protocols.
I supervised inmates to maintain safety, security, and order within the facility. My responsibilities included monitoring inmate behavior, transporting inmates, conducting security checks, enforcing rules and regulations, responding to incidents, and completing detailed reports. I operated under supervisors while remaining alert, professional, and calm in stressful situations. This role required strong communication skills, good judgement, and the ability to manage conflict while ensuring the safety of staff and inmates.
I worked at a farm where I operated heavy equipment including tractors, backhoes, mowers, bush hogs, and weed eaters to maintain land and crops. My responsibilities included field preparation, mowing, clearing vegetation, running polypipe for irrigation, equipment operation, and general farm maintenance. I also assisted with controlled field burns, following safety procedures and working as part of a team to manage land effectively. This role required physical endurance, attention to safety, mechanical awareness, and the ability to work outdoors in demanding conditions.
