This role requires myself to be a part of a team that safely operates high pressure water blasting equipment to prepare and clean industrial equipment and areas such as pipelines, tanks, exchangers, reactors, condensers, building structures, and ditches. This role requires the usage of different hydro blasting pumps that use up to 40,000psi and different hoses and water nozzles depending on the structure or equipment being worked on. An additional part of this role is to use vacuum trucks and setup vacuum hoses to remove product and water from areas and equipment, as well as communicating with the customer to identify the proper areas to throw away or store any trash or material that was collected.
Being a laborer in this field requires me to support the installation and construction of commercial and utility-scale solar energy systems. With this role I regularly assist crews throughout the job site for installing structures and equipment, material handling, trenching, mounting pillars, and general construction duties while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standards
As a collision repair technician, I was challenged daily to work with customers and insurance agents thoroughly to inspect damaged/malfunctioning vehicles due to various reasons such as a car accident, theft recovery, or just regular wear and tear. No two cars are damaged the same, so every inspection was unique, occasionally requiring structural repair, welding, panel replacement, re-wiring of electrical components, plastic repair, body repair and re-painting of the vehicle.
As a forklift operator, I remained motivated to operate both a sit-down forklift and a stand-up reach truck to fulfill my role requirements. With 2 main responsibilities, I switched between in bound or outbound on a daily basis. While working inbound, I would unload pallets of merchandise out of the trailers and displace them onto their assigned storage racks within the warehouse. My role with outbound was the exact opposite, I would maneuver within the warehouse and find the designated pallets of merchandise and load them into the trailers to prepare them for delivery. Occasionally the job required me to reorganize and repair damaged pallets or rearrange materials that were falling out of their packages
