Each assignment consisted of one to two days of orientation. Learning to rely on my strong nursing background, my willingness to learn and to ask questions. I've acquired the knowledge of learning a new EMR system at each new facility.

• Med/Surg Telemetry Unit
• Patient assessments, working with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate plans of care for patients of all ages; average nurse to patient ratio of 1:6
• Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, and test results in EMR and physical charts
• Utilized clinical expertise to remove sutures, administer medications, injections, administer IV therapy, test glucose levels, venipuncture and wound care.

• Medication draw, vaccinate, observation of patients post vaccination and scheduling for follow up appointments.

• Currently still employed PRN RN since 2023. 154 beds Rehab/LTC facility. Supervised CNAs, adjusted schedules for call-ins, providing guidance and support to peers in a leadership role
• Provided complex care for a diverse patient population with varied acuity levels
• Duties included but not limited to, monitoring and assessing vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, updating care plans, speaking directly with doctors and families
• Provided physical and emotional support to patients and families.

• Rehab/LTC facility (153 beds)
• LPN skills utilized including but not limited to: PEG Tube cares and administrations, Wound Vac dressing changes and management, medication administration, comprehensive treatment regimes
• Worked on an interdisciplinary team to enhance the holistic approach to patient care.
