M.T.P. made its initial launch that year and I had the privilege of being casted in their first show which was a musical titled, Beauty and the Beast, and I got to perform as Gaston. I had the privilege of getting to work with Vocal Coach, Thomas Hayes, who trained/taught me how to really use my voice and took me to newer heights. I also worked with a Dance Choreographer, who gave me a well rounded introduction into dancing/stage dancing. I further learned line analyzing, character relations, and how to connect more to the character.
I performed in my first Shakespeare play titled, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and I portrayed Lysander. I learned about the Iambic Pentameter: how to locate the Rhythm and its different types, as well as how to make Elisions'. I learned, rigorously, how to correctly read Shakespeare and how to translate/decipher the words to our Modern English to fully understand the meaning of what's being said. I started to make the needed adjustments to my every day life to connect more to the character and furthered my training in character comparison, relations, and my overall ability to draw closer to my character through substitutions and emotional and sense memory.
