  • Thomas More Award Recipient - The St. Thomas More Award is named after the English scholar, statesman and saint, who was in his time the most popular and respected man in England and second only to the King in power. Thomas More sacrificed all, including his life, by refusing to swear a false oath before God. He lived out the motto: “To thine own self be true,” and is known to all ages as “the Man for All Seasons.” Each member of the faculty is invited to recommend a student from the classes he or she teaches for this award – a student who, often quietly and inconspicuously, embodies the ideals of the school and exemplifies the integrity for which Thomas More is so admired.
