While onboard USS Gonzalez(DDG-66) I was a dedicated and experienced engineer who maintained an operational propulsion and electrical power plant through two 9 month long deployments in the middle east and two rigorous inspection cycles in the course of 5 years. Proven to be physically and mentally strong and an effective communicator, also able to work independently and use problem-solving skills to obtain desirable outcomes through fast-paced and high-stress environments. As gas turbine technician electrician onboard USS GONZALEZ, I was sought out for knowledge and troubleshooting on Allison 510-K34 Rolls Royce Gas Turbine Generator sets, General Electric LM2500 Gas Turbine Engines, and all the associated electrical and auxiliary equipment.
Currently employed at Hunterstown generating station as an IC&E technician. I conduct routine preventative and corrective maintenance on the 3x1 combined cycle plant to include the balance of plant. Qualified outside operator, Certified qualified electrical worker via ISPIC, INC/NFPA 70E, Qualified IC&E technician via NAES.
