Providing support for all network infrastructure across a global WAN for over 30,000 employees. Building, designing and configuring networks from the bottom up during company expansion as well as managing projects to do so.

  • During company expansion, provided support over phone to installation contractors in the field as well as building template configurations for contractors on corporate site so they can configure many networks to standard and to Grifols' needs. Providing QA support to ensure that once networks are installed, that, all network operations are validated for operations.
  • Providing support from the wall jack (MIO) all the way back to our primary corporate hubs in CA, NC, and Spain.
  • Documenting any and all changes in the network utilizing Netbrain, HP Service Manager, Vizio, Solarwinds, and the entire Microsoft Suite including TEAMS for collaboration with other departments.
  • Working on ever-growing need for Wireless infrastructure within the company on numerous projects to upgrade and update controllers, and troubleshoot all the way to the AP across the united states.
  • Providing L1, 2 and 3 support for all sites across the WAN in order to assure minimum downtime and maximum redundancy across all nodes on our network.
  • Managing all company and user needs in Cisco Call Manager, and Cisco Unified Communications Manager as well as building VOIP phone systems from the bottom up.

  • Utilized troubleshooting skills and on-line resources to configure, construct, and maintain new networks per the need of the City's departments or resolve issues with networks already in place.
  • Worked with a small team of techs to upgrade and organize all networking equipment at the 911 LAPD Valley Dispatch Center with a deadline of 3 days.
  • Migrated 220 Networks from AT&T's T1 RLAN DSL service to TWC using Aruba RAP-3's in order to GRE tunnel into the City's intranet infrastructure.
  • Utilized network monitoring and automation software such as Netbrain, Netscout, Solarwinds and Netsmart in order to diagnose and troubleshoot issues on the City's WAN.
