Over the last seven years practicing medicine as a Physician Assistant, I have had the privilege of practicing a variety of medicine in rural settings. I have worked mostly in the urgent care and primary care settings. I have had experience working in the emergency departments in the two rural locations that I have worked. - I performed minor office procedures including abscess I&D, joint injections, casting, splinting, toenail removals, etc
- I performed many DOT Medical Examiner Renewals, treated patients with worker’s comp cases and occasionally moonlighted in the Emergency Dept.
- Managed the care of residents within the Hospital's Long Term Care Unit.
