My name is Trevor. In 2013, i started my working career while still in high school, simply cooking at the Waffle House. I loved it, and was often recognized for advancement, until I hit the "ceiling" in late 2014. I was quickly fascinated with the operations side of restaurants. I also started going to college for business around this time. Though I had changed my major, I was still fascinated by business, and started doing relief manager work while going to college. My hard work paid off and I was offered a store when i became eligible in 2017. I quickly tried to learn everything i could about Waffle House, and was focused on my store being the best in Colorado. Eventually, I applied for promotion to District Manager, and secured that position in 2019. After that, the pandemic hit and there was a lot of uncertainty in the Waffle House world, but I stuck it out. I was determined to help "bring us out" of the pandemic. Luckily, Waffle House survived, and that is where i had found my home for the last 5-6 years.
I was in charge of:
-Ensuring we hit profit targets, based on parameters that are set forth beforehand. I was happy to say that we had 101 percent profit average across my 3 stores.
-Upholding the highest quality standards among employees
-Maintaining and repairing restaurant equipment
- Ensuring accurate scheduling and food ordering, auditing inventory regularly, auditing P&Ls for deficiencies, as well as coaching high quality standards across 3 different stores, with 3 general managers, and approximately 70 employees.
I loved what I did, but after 12 years in the company, i decided to see what else is out there beyond restaurants.
I am a District Manager with a proven track record at Waffle House, excelling in strategic planning and leadership. Enhanced operational quality through rigorous audits and data analysis, driving profitability and employee engagement. Skilled in conflict resolution and training, fostering a collaborative environment that consistently exceeded performance metrics.
