- I have worked as a Systems Engineer supporting network deployments for school districts and other customers, primarily in K-12 environments. My work includes both on-site and remote engineering support for switching and wireless projects, with responsibilities ranging from installation support to leading customer deployments.
- During a three-month on-site engagement with a Texas school district, I served as the primary engineer and point of contact for network operations and implementations. While on site, I identified the root cause of a firewall issue that had been causing district-wide outages and worked with the appropriate teams to implement a solution.
- Led engineering efforts on diverse projects for school districts, including campus switching deployments and high school core and access switch installations.
- Supported large network refresh projects for major school districts by assisting senior engineers during installations across multiple sites.
- Participated in wireless site surveys for school districts and industrial environments, including oil refineries, collecting survey data, creating analysis reports, and presenting findings and recommendations to customer IT staff.
- My role regularly requires travel to customer sites across the country. I have completed fully self-directed work such as conducting an independent wireless survey project in Benicia, California. I have also assisted with the creation of bills of materials for network upgrade proposals, working closely with senior engineers and account managers.
