  • Destined for Greatness Outreach Youth Center, 963 Welch St SW, Atlanta, GA, 30310,-The outreach program supports youth to become leaders through mentorship with teaching skills such as integrity and responsibility. I volunteered to help with the youth mental health summit which taught youth how to be responsible and take care of their mental health needs.
  • Good Samaritan Food Pantry, 458 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA, 30312-The pantry program provides groceries to families facing food insecurity. I volunteered with helping to restock food in the pantry, verifying food expiration dates to remove out of date items, and stacked items in the appropriate locations for distribution.
  • Wylde Center, 435 Oakview Rd, Decatur, GA, 30030-The center farms food including vegetables, fruits and animal livestock for the local community. Community members are able to collect fruits and vegetables for consumption or purchase plants. I volunteered to help clean out the park. Additionally, I gathered seeds to supply a local pie event that the center was supporting.
  • Dads Garage Theater, 569 Ezzard St SE, Atlanta, GA, 30312-The local theater company showcases original plays & regular improv shows. It hosts a variety of interactive comedy shows, monologues and improvisations to engage the audience. I volunteered at a ticket agent by checking and scanning tickets for entrance. I helped with set-up, breakdown, and clean the theater for the show. I also had to participate in one of the show's acts.
