  • Made initial diagnosis and located mechanical deficiencies and malfunctions with automatic pistols, revolvers, shotguns, carbines, automatic rifles, submachine guns, mortars, recoilless rifles, rocket launchers, and other small arms accessories
  • Assisted in leading team of 4 small arms repairers to maintain and fix malfunctions for unit of over 128 infantry soldiers and was awarded Army Achievement Medal
  • Responsible for Field and Sustainment level support maintenance of over 50 weapons which include M9, M4, M16, M14 EBR, M249, M240 Series, M2, M203, and 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortars
  • Disassembled weapons, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and other components and examined defects, mechanical misalignment and malfunctions
  • Replaced barrels, firing pins, springs, and trigger assemblies; modified small weapons, replacing obsolete parts and/or assemblies.
  • Used precision gauges and test instruments, hand machine tools, jigs, and alignment devices, making repairs, modifications, and adjustments
