Responsibilities included; Answering phone to book new and returning patients. Prepare documents for patients file for Dr. Hughes, request medical records collect co-payments. Book appointments for patients with a particular hospitals for MRI, CT scans and any other medical procedures. Renew prescriptions for patients.
Greeting patients pulling patients charts. Accept co-payments and register patients with current or new health insurance. Communicate with the Medical Assistants and Doctors per medication and prescriptions.
