Performing press setup involves die changes using correct bend radius, setting work piece stops to proper position, set correct pressure on presses to form the proper bend angularity, assist in weld department with spot welding when necessary, product labeling and packaging for shipment of finished goods using automated inventory systems, performed assembly of finished components. Also trained in the use of lock out tag out procedures for safe machinery set up and troubleshooting.
- Previously worked as interim filter frame department lead person. As department head I was responsible for departmental performance and a crew of 3 subordinate employees. It was my job to evaluate and report employee performance to my superiors, assisting with employee development wherever possible.
