During my time as a student intern, I learned how to administer intravenous and intramuscular injections on dogs and cats, as well as gaining practice on venipuncture, monitoring anesthesia, and dental cleanings.

During my time as a student intern here, I focused on helping during appointments, mainly restraining dogs and cats during appointments and checking the next appointment while the doctors were finishing the last ones. I also practiced some essential skills such as jugular venipuncture as well as monitoring anesthesia for surgery and dentals.

During my time as a student intern, I mainly worked in the back during surgeries and dentals, helping with drug calculations, patient preparations such as placing an intravenous catheter, administering medications under the guidance and permission of the technicians and doctors, monitoring anesthesia during procedures, and monitoring the post-operative recovery of the patients.
