Volunteering and Leadership
- Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc: As a member of this organization, I currently hold the position of attire chair and social chair. I organize events within the community, focusing on creating efficient communication and marketing, and serve wherever help is needed. I have built bonds and soared to success, through learning to be a team player with my sisters.
- National Council of Negro Women: I have been a member of NCNW for 2 years, in which I have led, empowered, and advocated for black women by organizing programs and initiatives within the community, promoting civic engagement and social justice.
- Braven Course Participant: In this course I was empowered and given tools towards a strong career and proper networking. In my cohort I was able to learn the fundamentals of professionalism and expansion in my brand.
- AWOL Outreach: This community leadership organization has allowed me to provide new initiatives that focus on creating cross-sector partnerships to increase the community's overall quality.
