I started A to Z to earn income to support myself during school
I was able to connect and communicate with Clients through online ads and word of mouth through peers
I have enjoyed getting to utilize my organization and minimalist approach on multiple clients to help declutter their homes and lives
Essentially being self-employed I made my own schedule, gave clients the option between standard cleaning products and organic and natural products as well as provided a detailed catalog of services
I provided my own equipment and personally set goals with the client to get requests done promptly
I took my Organization and cleaning hobby to the next level; which benefited my clients as well as myself.

Groups
Pre-PA Society at The University of Texas in San Antonio, 10/01/21, Present, As an active member I collaborate with peers on different opportunities to gain volunteer hours to apply to PA school. In addition to preparing for entrance exams and learning about programs across Texas.
Health Science Shadowing Program, 08/01/19, 05/01/20, Qualifying for this program is highly competitive with each year garnering a waitlist of students wanting admission. Throughout the course, students earn five certifications including, CPR, defibrillation, Red Cross first aid, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Students in the Health Science Shadowing program have the additional opportunity of working with local doctors, dentists, veterinarians, and social workers. We had the opportunity to go out for two hours, three times a week, earning 200 hours of clinical rotations. I was able to get a better understanding of the different aspects of healthcare, including the clerical and patient case aspects.
Awards
President's Volunteer Service Award, 12/01/19, In 2019 My health science shadowing peers and myself were recognized by the President of the United States for our work. This Award recognizes the important role volunteers play nationwide. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center nominated WHS for the award due to the number of hours and units of blood collected every year. Our annual blood drive collected over 250 units of blood to be donated. To qualify, the 25 students in the Health Science Shadowing class have to collectively earn a specific amount of volunteer hours each year. This is the first year the class has qualified for the Gold level award by earning over 250 volunteer hours. As part of the award, I received a congratulatory letter from the president, a customized certificate, and a medallion. This award made me realize working hard to serve my hometown community was going to affect more than just one person. That's exactly what I want to do with my Medical career care for and help every patient that I can because everyone deserves extraordinary healthcare.
