• 2011-2016 Salinas Valley 411 Marketing Project Monterey County, CA Created $2.5M tourism marketing project for Salinas Valley across all media and channels. • 2007-Present History Phone Audio Tour Monterey County, CA Designed and produced free self-guided audio tour funded by grants and support from the local business community. Instigated local [and ongoing] oral history project from the ground up, including historic research, community outreach and collaboration, website and app design, marketing and presentation. Created direct, positive Hartnell link with middle and high school students and families for 5000+ local students annually through the power of the arts.
• 1998-2019 Bailando con la Muerte Hartnell College Gallery Salinas, CA Bailando con la Muerte [Dancing with Death] a Community Celebration of Life & Remembrance: an exhibition of art and diverse cultural traditions celebrating the life of loved ones and ancestors who have passed away. Inclusive, annual Día de los Muertos [Days of the Dead] event at Hartnell College Gallery. Established consortium of Día de los Muertos events around the Monterey Bay region: CSUMB, Pajaro Valley Arts Council, Hartnell College. National Steinbeck Center, and Alisal Center for the Fine Arts; connected local events to meet for inclusive parade on Main Street. More than 2000 attendees per year, not including elementary/high school visits. Included cross disciplinary elementary school arts/STEM visits and established robust college-wide and community participation.
