  • Creator and sole host of a weekly music history show, The Hippie Hour. The show combines an interest in 1960s counterculture with creating accessible and entertaining history education for the masses.
  • Hosted on community radio stations in Ithaca, NY (WRFI, 2022-2024) and Burlington, VT (WBTV-LP, present) which acted as a connection to the local community.

  • Guided multiple one-hour long tours throughout the museum twice a week, learning the narrative of the tour as well as the life history of the Seward family.

Introduction to Museum Studies (Spring 2022) prof. Risham Majeed

  • General introduction to the history of museums and art galleries in an international context. Investigated their cultural and societal roles, and addressed the contemporary issues and ethical dilemmas faced within modern society. Additionally explored related aspects of the art world and art market, and put together our own virtual exhibit for a final project.


Archaeological Methods (Fall 2020) prof. Michael Malpass

  • Focused on the ways that archaeologists discover, analyze, interpret, and explain the lifestyles of past cultures through what is left behind. Observed and analyzed the nature of archaeological evidence, how data are obtained through survey and excavations, the techniques of dating sites, and how prehistoric culture systems are reconstructed. Active discussions about the field of cultural resources management and ethics in archaeology.



British Art & Architecture I: 1066-1660 (Fall 2019) prof. Susan Bracken

  • An on-site study of selected works of visual art and architectural styles in Britain's history and their relationship to the societies that produced them. Analysis of various styles in painting, architecture, and ornament. Academic trips to museums and historic buildings such as Westminster Abbey, Somerset House, and Hampton Court Palace.


World Archaeology (Fall 2018) prof. Thomas Garrison

  • Introductory course to ancient civilizations and the history of archaeology as a practice. Evaluated past inferences of cultures based on the methods and ethics of the anthropologists involved. Discussed modern ethics of anthropologists and the importance of preserving artifacts and cultures in a way that uplifts the voices of modern successors, the people today who feel most connected to the group being studied.
